Anyone know if these Kolpin fuel tanks are sold in the UK...?

You can get both in two sizes 1.25 and 1.5 gallon the small one is 12"x13"x3.5"wide ...the large one 4.5"

Checked out the site - looks like you'd need to spend £150 to add 10 ltrs extra fuel to your bike...............

Mega-range on a 1200Adv then, though

Some of the rack-packs look interesting, though - it'd fit across the panniers/rear rack neatly, I think.............

Not cheap but look very well made ...will solve the problem i have with my 950se ...but then there's talk of a larger tank due out in april from Aqualine for my bike ...

There would also be handy for you GSers visiting more remote places were fuel and clean water becomes an issue...

In the summer I rode north from Linz in Austria across the forested border into the Czech Republic. for 30 minutes I rode through twisting forested roads and a river running alongside. I felt quite adventurous and chuffed with myself until i rode into the nearest town and saw giant signs for feckin Tesco.

That just killed the moment for me. felt like I'd never left home

Tesco are all over Czech, Slovakia and Hungary they are everywhere the slow creep of capitalism !

That's quite neat actually - you could have one of fuel, one or water, or whatever, inside your pannier........
