Anyone on here previously owned this bike KR67UAU ?

Just bought it so wondered if you could let me know anything about it :beerjug:

Look at the Log Book, search on facebook for the previous owner. I've been contacted twice now that way.

The last/previous keeper is no longer shown on the V5.

I didn't know that. Must be quite recent that change. Bikes were 63 and 66 plate.
Hope you find your previous owner.

Yep GPDR no previous keeper details on v5c and dealers not allowed to pass on the huge raft of bills and history to the new owner if they have previous owner(s) details on them .

That's mental. If I were a dealer or worked in one, I'd spend 5 minutes with a pair of scissors and make sure the new owner was well served with all the past paperwork. Stupid feckin regulations for regulations sake. Common sense eh

I would be quite happy to give a letter of authorization to a dealer so that the new owner could have all the paperwork etc

I dont know why ( other than can't be arsed) dealers dont ask bods to do this

Without proof of service, I'd refuse to buy.

Simples.

Its got full history with it and 2 years warranty, just wondered who had it, did they tour, drive it like they stole it or whatever.
Nothing sinister just curious.

The trouble with this is that a past owner might tell you that in his ownership, the bike was the biggest pile of unreliable shit he's ever ridden and was glad to get rid. How would you feel about your "new" bike then?

Would you be able to sleep at night?
