Second line in the advert says £5500

Should have gone to Specsavers? 🤓
Well done! Clever boy! :comfort

Albeit You’ve only just arrived to view this.:D
Said advertisement is a day old and OP has corrected it once it was pointed out to him by two people within split seconds of each other.
He also by the look of it added more pictures, which is a bonus for the perspective buyer.
Will that buyer be you?

Would like it to be, but house purchase curtails any such fun currently I’m afraid 😟

Can we assume that the big valve service has been completed and if so is there proof in the form of an invoice? Thanks 👍
Good shout. Mine cost (on 1290) £1100 last year.

Maybe the ‘revised’ version of KTM will offer reasonably priced and owner-transferable service plans to do away with the mental block of worrying about the cost of the major valve service every time a lovely s/h example comes to market…… 🤔

Can't see a mileage figure, so may not need it?

Looks a lot of bike for the money to me.

Why so expensive?
Allot of stuff to remove to get to them, then reassemble it all.
They had my bike for 2 days.
In my instance, (allegedly) I needed 3 shims. No idea which ones, as nothing was explained and no evidence of old ones was produced when asked to see them (I was being curious). Their response was, ahh yeah mate, they are now in the bucket with all the other shims we chucked in there.
That was the last time I have used this dealer who had supplied the bike. They haven’t looked after me the way they said they would when the bike got purchased.

As said, it's a lot of work to get at and a fair bit more if new shims are needed. Fortunately, my own and anecdotal evidence suggests it is rare that the V twins need adjusting at 18K and not even that common at 36K.
A very experienced KTM mechanic I know rode his own bike past that mileage and never considered it worth checking YMMV.

Are you suggesting my arse was had?

Not at all. I'm sure your dealer did the work they said as it's in the service requirements. Slightly surprised yours needed 3 shims, but I've never heard of a dealer producing the old shims as justification. They could just pick any old ones out of the box.

I checked mine at 18K and it was OK. That's all I know for sure.

A few years back I went too the large local Ducati dealer to buy some shims for my 900SS. Parts dept. didn't have any and suggested trying the workshop. They said the didn't have a shim kit as the bikes never needed shimming :redlight :ROFLMAO::redlight
