KTM 1290 R Display...

Whilst I was happily sat on the 1290R at the NEC pondering my future a young lad (Scrote) came up to the bike and bent the speedo display back, inserted his iPhone into the gap and took a couple of pictures of the rear of the unit and the connections..i watched him intently ( Remember I was sat on the bike, and had just taken my hands of the bars) and he gave me a "hard" stare in return - ( Not being racist but he would not tick the White British box on a form)

it looked to me like a little bit of forward planning around lifting said units for resell....... either that or BMW sent him over for a closer look......

While he may be a thieving bastard and your judgment correct there wasn't a need to point out what colour he was or wasn't.

Pro tip: usually when someone says "not but racist but" it's almost always followed by something racist.

Nah, he's got the same bike as me, the iconic and now classic 1190R. Proper, solid, old skool LCD clocks.
