Hi,

My front wheel TPS has become lazy and won't display until the bike has been ridden for c. 20 minutes.

It might come right when the weather warms up. If so, I can wait until a new front tyre is needed and change it then.

Don't fancy changing the battery, did that on BMW and it did not last.

Does anybody know if a genuine replacement KTM sensor will need to be paired to the bike at the dealers, or will it pair itself?

hi,
i fit a new rear sensor on my 2017 1290gt, it paired itself in a few mins of riding no problem . i think if you change two at the same time it can be diffrent so one at a time is the way to go

Shifty,
Thanks, that sounds good!
Meantime, I have sprung a radiator leak so going to have to replace that now. 87,000kms
Luckily it became apparent as a drip drip drip when putting the bike away after a ride, and before coolant level went out of bottom of bottle.

Had a radiator leak myself last year, topped up the cooling system with radweld (aprox 50ml) all was sealed after a short ride.

I read somewhere these radiators can crack near the top mounts, so radiator place North (of me) fixes and strenghtens them for a fraction of the cost of a new one - buggered if I can remember who it was though.

Could even have it sorted before it cracks if your that way inclined, but now clocked up 40k on 3 x 1X90's and mates done 70k on his 1190 with the same rad still going strong, so don't see it as essential because "they all do that"
