KTM 300 EXC Cutting Out - Difficult to restart. Bogging of idle.

Spark plug is indeed fouled. However new one didn't turn up

Yep - Multiple plugs on order. Its not as if they cost much. Plus the KTM repair manual.

New plug in. Still no go.

Binned the fuel in tank that came with the bike & drained carb. Fresh fuel in.

Cpl of kicks and BINGO. Out 20 min ride. Still not right off idle but fine after that. Now to fiddle with airscrew / jets / needle and get that right for current temperatures. Some turning up on Fri for some Saturday fiddling....

Reckon fouled plug was simply from repeated cutting out with fuel in chamber and fuel not burning, as result of bad fuel. Sound plausible?

Saga continues. Still cutting out after doing 2 x 6 mile journeys. Took plug out, all fine, but threw a new one in. Both plugs were sparking. Now it won't start at all. I reckon there is an intermittent electrical fault. Stator? Dodgy connector? Weak Spark? NFI. So waiting on dealer to pick it up. I've done more than enough on it trying to get a 26hr bike operating reliably. Plus the hesitation / bogging off idle & fooked electric start needs sorting too. Hey ho.
