Hi boys and girls, I’m looking to sell/swap my lovely 2008 (that’s an important bit to those that know) KTM SuperDuke 990R. I’ve a few longer trips planned this year and an adventure type bike will be a bit more suited.
I bought one of these new in 2008 and always regretted selling it. The 2008 is a rare model, its a higher power than the other years, has internal engine differences and full Akro headers as standard amongst other things to make over 134bhp at the wheel, the KTM map is installed with a MotoHooligan CNC machined airbox. I found this with a genuine 2880 miles in the IOM, lots of invoices, but was then part of a dealer collection. I recently had it re-commissioned, full service, including valve clearance check, all fluids, new tyres etc. it’s absolutely unmarked and immaculate.
Has Akro rear exhaust, comfort seat and goes like a stabbed rat. I’m looking to swap for a KTM adventure/GS/A type bike. Comes with the full book pack, three keys including the orange one, and KTM folder. Currently on an IOM reg, but I can re-register to the UK if wanted, it’s £55 and a paper excercise.
Hard to value, as they don’t come up often, but I’d say £5500 Ono is a fair price, the service and tyres was around £1000.
Very interested in the above for a p/ex, with cash either way. I’ll try and upload a walk around video, but can WhatsApp to any interested buyers if it doesn’t work!
