Anyone got one and managed get the Db restrictor baffles out? I've had Akrapovics in the past and they've had a small bolt holding the baffles in place but the new can fitted on the bike doesn't, it certainly looks like there is a baffle but it looks like it's secured by a spot weld.
Anyone managed?

I tried mine recently but came to the conclusion the bolt had been spot welded as it would not budge. I presumed it was an anti tamper measure as my bike came with the Akro can fitted as standard.

More welly need, bung a breaking bar on the end of your allen key, job done :D

Seriously though, they just need a bit of brute force - unleash the sound!

Not so...this will not budge and it is positioned in such a way that it will damage the carbon end cap if too heavy handed. I quit before it ended in tears.

I may get a link pipe in place of the cat instead.

A dremmel with a carbide bit, grind out the spot weld (not a spot of weld) and a bit of muscle. The baffle was wrecked though during the process and not reusable.
It does sound alot better now:bounce1
