KTM Freeride 350

had a sit on one today , tiny for a Tosser more like a Mountain bike but Cool looking well made like the exausts 5 litre fuel tank but Tiny tiny tiny !!!

Yep, the best selling point for me, riding in Wales at weekends..... a 5litre fuel cell, what fucking use is that?:nenau
The rest of the bike looks superb, though a 35 bhp engine would be more the power required from the de-tuned racer engine.
But let me post it again..... £7000 ON THE ROAD!
Under that price are the whole of the current Husaberg range, and if i did my homework, i reckon i could find some of the last DRZ400E models and probably get two for the price of one of these jaffas, and I'll add that i will not get the freeride any further up a 'hill' than i can get an ancient DRZ-E, so this is why i question the £7k price tag!

Mmmmm 2012 bikes are £6095 otr but currently no stock and the 2013 bikes will be through shortly at £6295 otr

My local dealer has sold all 3 that he's had allocated and the next stock which is 1 x 2013 model year bike is due to him end of July

£6000 otr if I want it?

5 litre tank but supposed to do around 80mpg allegedly :nenau

.. said the KTM saleman!

Sarah Teach's 250Serow doesn't do that on the trails, so it's bullshit!

First post having just ventured in, but my 350 EXC-F on which this engine is based gets what may be termed 'real' use in national H&H races and its FAR better than its predecessor an 2010 250F. By about 45 mins of racing in fact, unbelievably efficient.

Also, seem to remember my wonky winter XR250 that I thought might make a handy 'training' shed used not much less than the 'old' 250 on a set green lane route. On this basis, I'm inclined to believe 80mpg. I'm sure you could get less if you were determined to prove me wrong tho'.

Hey dude, i was out last Sunday on a trail ride with a 350exc, and I can tell you that it was no where near doing 80mpg, infact, at fuel it took more fuel on board than the three DRZ400E and one TTR250, so where you get the 80mpg from i have no idea....... and in a H&H scramble, NAH!

Fuel consumption aside can we agree on something and that is that the 2012model is £6095 otr and the 2013 version £6295 otr so whoever is telling Timpo they're £7000 is plainly incorrect :D

i wonder if it be any good fitted with sm wheel and a bit biger tank

Do you welcome all new members by calling them bullshitters?

where is he saying that then

if the guy thinks his 350 gets 80mpg in a race thats great but after 16 years of ktm ownership and racing i kind of think the guy needs to check his calculations and come back to us

are you a moderator now?

From what i've been hearing about these 350's, the engines don't hang together long enough to burn a tank of fuel
