Is that Piles, sorry Giles riding ? He's picked up the offroading pretty quickly !!

Well ...... (:D)

I was lucky enough to have a job off road refresher day last week with Dylan Jones. He came down to Kent and did his stuff with my team for the day. (http://www.yamaha-offroad-experience.co.uk/)

Bloody hell! It is so frustrating! I consider myself to be reasonably handy on road, but really quite incompetent off road - I get through stuff with no finesse style or technique - I just crash bang wallop through stuff. Dylan just made riding an off road bike look like an art (much like the Chris birch video), and without showing off or larging it his talent was just amazing.

I am sooooooooo jealous! I would just love to have an ounce of the talent that some of these blokes have got ..... Sigh .....

We did a general refresher that started with the basics and moved on to some pretty steep gradients, logs, ruts etc. The guy just floats his bike everywhere. The ruts that we did - I sit and and can just about get through with the odd dab. Dylan went through them at about 30mph standing up 'steering' with just his body. So humbling!

yep - I'd give my back teeth to be able to ride like that ..... :D

More talent in his little finger than I've accumulated over 30 plus years riding bikes

Andres

More talent in his little finger nail than I've accumulated in 50 plus years riding bikes

I feckin' hate him with a vengeance :D

:beerjug:

I did off roading with trials and scrambling (how old am I ?!!!) from about 12 years old and ridden trails for years and still wouldn't be close to that talent. Amazing scenery too. :beerjug:
