Just bought an LC4 which came with the touratech frame but no luggage. Has anyone any experience of the plastic boxes KTM sell ? I have also been considering the Touratech soft panniers your considered opinion would be appreciated.

You could try Touratech ally panniers which will fit the frames you have you can get them in different sizes 
Or buy some cheaper panniers and a puk mounting kit from touratech see photo...The square part of the pannier frame is the same size on all the frame models they do ...Have a look on the touratech website...

As far as I know the panniers supplied by KTM for their Adventure are the Gobi panniers as made by Hepco & Becker. Double skinned plastic, very tough
