guys, after lots of dusty kms and lots of stacks both on hardtop and dirt in my bmw savanah gear, the time has come to retire it and buy some new gear.

KTM seam to have some good rally gear. Has anybody bought/used/or stacked it in the rally jacket and pants? If so i would appreciate some feedback

I used to have KTM rallye jacket and pants from many moons ago. it seemed very robust kit though not fully waterproof (no goretex liner or similar)
I switched to HG stuff only cos I couldnt get hands on with any KTM stuff when I retired the old (too small :nenau ) and its only my current HG tuareg (pants bought this winter) stuff that seems to match the ktm gear for toughness. That said my ktm stuff would be near 7 years old now and a lot changes over time.

ktm stuff

thanks for the feedback, the stuff im referring to is their latest u beaut, blue and yuk colur that has a couple of linners etc.

Hi, my other half has this years jacket. I think its the colour scheme you are talking about! She is very pleased with it although she's not exactly mad on off roading. I have the top of the range (read most expensive) hein gericke jacket and would take the KTM one every time! 'Nuff said? Hope this is helpful.

ta for that, i currently have the bmw original savanah stuff and very please with when coming off on my bike. I saw the ktm stuff in the dakar and thought it might be worth a look. Getting a product that keeps you dry/cool/warm and safe is i suppose the aim. It when its 45 celcius and your sweating big time that the airflow thing is most important and out here its probably the number one thing along with safe.
