Hi All,

My 2005, 1150 GSA is fitted with some LED replacement rear turn indicators which also show as a Red brake light.

I noticed at the weekend that the rear LH has started to flash very fast and on removing the lens, the LED board has fallen apart !!

Does any one know where I can source a replacement LED board, or has anyone got one they can sell me please ?

Cheers

Many thanks Stujw for the links and the Hornig ones do look identical to the ones fitted to my bike.

However at over £75 a pair :eek::eek:

I think I'm going to have to get my soldering iron and duct tape back out and try and repair the old one !!!

A long shot but has anyone got one lying around in their garage please ?? :nenau

Many thanks

I don't have a replacement for you unfortunately, I also have these fitted (only recently - thanks Nin they are brilliant) I presume these are mounted directly onto the sub frame position with the standard rubber section removed to reduce width and enable fittment within the panniers you have.
If this is the case then vibration may possibly been the underlying cause of the failure?

If your budget is tight (as most of us are) My advice would be to return that indicator to the old spec indicator bulb carrier etc
Save for a new replacement and find a way of isolating the vibration.
If you don't have the original set up I don't mind lending you a spare until you're fixed up.

Hi Flatdog,

Thanks for your reply.
I think you may be right regarding the vibration but I bought the bike with these LEDs already fitted and that was approx 40k miles ago, so they haven't done too badly !
I will wait and see if anyone off here has a spare or a repair solution because they do look great and I would like to keep them on the bike if at all possible.

Many thanks for your kind offer and I may be in touch if I draw a blank :beerjug:
