L/H/S Flash button..MOT fail ??

Hi Guys and Gals,
My wife's bike is running perfectly in every way...Nowt wrong with it at all...The perfect bike...A little niggle maybe ??
The flash button on the left had side handlebar doesn't work..no problem what so ever BUT is this an MOT failure in the UK..??
Ive had a search and people say no probs with MOT but....in the UK if it is fitted it must be working....Tosh
My MOT guy is chilled and laid back but am I being too anal

well i would 1st just take switch off, clean it and see. chances are its just dirty connections.

i had this on my own f650 on the starter button. connections were blackened so just bit of very fine sand paper or wire wool and some wd40 will take the black off

best to see if can fix it than try chance fail MOT

Who knows when you wife might want to Flash someone
