L-Vest

Well done BSD Nothing like that feeling when you pass. And not having to wear that hideous L tabard is also great.
Enjoy safe biking.

Well done.

That's great. Now, get off your arse and apply for the license - the clock doesn't start until you do that.

Never did have to wear that vest(only for training and the test itself) as I'm covered with my international driving permit

Well done, got the letter in the post this morning to say they had received my application and would let me know when the test was due. That will be anothr year I suppose.

.......I'm the 3rd owner and I believe it's got a 100% pass rate at the first go. ....

is that due to the 'anointing with oil' given it by the Trainer involved....? :augie

:D
Well Done by the way :clap

Don't bank on it being 12 months. Depends on where you applied too. Mine came up a lot sooner than I expected it to. If you need per test give og a shout I can vouch for him.

What kind of a thing is that Bryan? By the way were you Dublin bound last Sunday morning on the bike?

Many thanks to all for the well wishes.

Thanks gsgirl, have been using David Lyons up to now and found him quite good, so will stick with him, but cheers anyway.
Fingers crossed for an early date, have ticked the box to say I'd take a cancellation, for whatever that's worth.

Test

Hi guys,
I passed my test today:JB

I was under the impression from posts here that the 2 year probationary period(ie restricted engine size) only started when you get the fill license.

When I asked the tester he told me that it started the day of issue of provisional license.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

Mide

Well done!! :aidan

He's wrong about the 2-year limit (of they've changed it). When you get your full license it will have a date for unrestricted A class which is two years after the date of the license issue. The best way to be sure is to just apply immediately.

"The restriction applies for as long as you hold a provisional licence for this category and continues for the first two years of a full category A licence."
