Taught do a good deed and donate a huge collection of models to charity shop that do great work. Needless to say they sold them cheap and happy they got money in

Now just saw that there are being sold in small lots at shocking prices.

Maybe its me but one thing making small profit but feel that shop got gard done by when they usually as people to pay as much as they can for anythingon sale

But to offer feck all just to try make profit on a charity i think is just ignorant

Anywhoo rant over time crack open some beer

Apart from you who's pissed off?
Charity got the money they wanted...
Lads bought it thus giving the money
Lads make a profit making the local pub more money....

It makes the world go round everyone got what they wanted you got the feel good... charity made the money.. and as usual the landlord made the most:jager

I can see how it would grate on you as the charity could have made a bit more, but you could easily have sold them in smaller lots on e-bay yourself and just given the money to the charity.

No i dont want anything for them. Just i know the shop very well and dont like idea of some one trying make profit off a charity feels awful

I seem to remember you having a problem before with people buying models off you and they then were sold on at a profit? JJH

must have better memory than i have i dont remember that never sold models on as usually give them free to charity

profit

sell the models on to the highest bidder, make a big profit, then send the cash to the charity.
I'm still going to flea shops, looking for a Ming vase.
Josey

PS your story rings a bell, someone bought cheap and sold high.

I think that's actually the way the world works. Get real ! Its still better than them sitting and no one buying them.

Everyone got their money even though it might not have ended up as you had imagined and you do feel a tad disappointed.

ah ya more i have no patience and seen so many lads try make money on other losses or bad luck (other adds not this one) and find its not morally right

but again thats just my view and i know world works in different way.

dont mind cheap sale when perosn buying is buying to use it, but not lie or lead seller on and then try make profit.

i know happens all time and if we could all make large profits i am sure i wouldnt be complaining

but on exact sale i on about in charity shop, just feel that been nice if person who bough it actually got it and used it and enjoyed it

plenty people who dont have money and i had hoped giving them in would allow someone not as well off to buy something for themselves or someone else at cheap price and get use out of it

We give regular to the Vincent De Paul shops. And i always make sure the stuff goes on the shelf where its supposed to go.
