Has anyone got or tried one of these on an 1150 Adventure?

If so was it any good / worse than standard or are Tobinators the only recognised standard in the industry!!

Laminar Lips website is at http://www.laminarlip.com/index.html

Any thoughts welcome
Sherpa ;)

Not on an 1150 but I do have one on my 1200. It works very well. There's not a distributor on this side of the Atlantic so you'd have to order direct from Laminar Lip in California. We were on holiday in California and Nevada last year so I went to their production unit in Santa Ana and picked one up for a very good price. They're also really nice guys and keen bikers.

Having broken an MRA Varioscreen I've currently got the standard screen fitted and tobinated. I'm also trying a TT screen spoiler and am waiting for this to arrive. If all this fails then a laminar lip is the next option.

I've got the little Wunderlich clip on one on my Adv, it's neat and tidy and makes a big difference.

Micro-swirl

I've got the Micro-Swirl on my 1100 with a tall screen, and apart from looking a bit odd (although not as bad as the laminar lip IMHO), it does seem to do what it says on the tin !

I too removed the MRA but i also took off the little adjusti screen and fitted it to the standard 1200 screen. :thumb works well and i no longer have head aches.
Lyn.
PS: you have to remove the adjuster thingies and turn them around.

oblertone, they seem to have dug the hole a little too deep when the erected that lampost on your road. I'd have a word with the council mate, some poor dog could get a nasty shock :eek

Just received the screen trim. Now I'm waiting for a day when it's not windy as a windy thing to see how it compares to the TT screen extension.
