Hi everyone, I have recently become the owner of a R1150 gs adventure - and although I've been riding bikes for over 30 years its the first bike I've owned with a screen ... and I have a question about screen movement.
I have a standard screen fitteded with tobinators set at the lowest they will go - I notice the screen move slightly when going over bumps, it seems that the movement is the whole instrument binacle flexing. I have checked all the mounting points and every thing seem tight and snugged up - is this flexing normal for these bikes or should it all be ridgid (so to speak) ?

I am slowly working my way through the bigger jobs as the bike was a little neglected and am now dealing with the niggles - I would be interested to hear your views on the screen movement.

Thanks

ADV screens were bigger and had less direct mounts anyway hence the flex... The clocks etc are on rubber bushes so they'll move... Grab hold of the top of the screen and you'll be able to flex it side to side as per normal...

Thanks - I found that a lot of the small torx bolts on the front "beak" were not tight and now there is not as much flex - noing that it is rubber mounted would explain the flex I have now - cheers.
