I have always wanted to do a full coastal trip of the UK starting at Lands End and finishing at Lands End. I am planning it for next year and just wanted to know if anyone has done the trip and how long it had taken and also if there are any places that I should not miss.
I am in the very early stages of planning, and any info would be greatly received...

Thanks

Lands End to lands End

Woah !!! Stop Stop ... :clap

A few years ago, a couple of guys did a trip round all the Lifeboat Stations in the UK. This thread started on f650.co.uk and you can probably find this on Useful Links above (If someone knows how to post the link ... :blast) This was I think a Charity Run and I was going to tag along for the Lancashire section but as usual work got in the way.
I think the guys name on that website was called Pondboy, though i`m taking a guess :nenau

Cheers Dakarnoway.

Its 8000 miles round the coast. I only know this as some dude from where I live has just set off in a tractor!

Stay at Mine

Hey Stop Stop - sure enough PondBoy did pass through and I met up with him at the Sennen Lifeboat station for a drink and a catch up. He couldn't stay over as he was planning on reaching at least two more lifeboat stations that afternoon (we've got a lot down here).
As I still seem to be the only GSer at Lands End, feel free to come and stay for the start, finish or both of your long journey. Good Luck.:clap:clap
