Ok, i just ordered a laptop which hopefully is arriving tomorrow!

Now, is there a program built into windows XP that allows me to synchronise Outlook and My documents between laptop and desktop over my wireless connection, or do i need to buy some special software?

if theres is a program in windows, how do i start it up for the first time!

thanks

If you treat the Desktop as the "Server" then you may be able to get away with using "Offline Folders" (built into XP Pro - not sure about XP Home).

An alternative is SyncToy

Another I have used is Syncback

Not sure about Outlook sync - it will probably work at the .PST (file level) with the utilities above but will probably get confused if you have outlook open on both machines at the same time.

I use a program called filesync (one word) and it works very well, is easy to use. Do a google! :thumb2
