Laptop (not) charging in Keswick area..

Up in Keswick for a week and forgot my laptop charger. If I'm careful, I can last until I go home next week, but need to get it fully charged first.. it's only on 25% at the moment, which will only last me a couple of days.
It has a USB-C socket and needs a bit more 'umph' than normal phone chargers.
Any suggestions?
 
What laptop is it?

Could you possibly order a charger from somewhere like Amazon & have it delivered to where you’re currently staying?

Yes, that would be a possibility, but most are quoting 3-days.. thought I'd see if I could get a charge locally first.
It's a Lenovo Yoga laptop.
 
The good thing with USB-C is that it doesn't matter what brand it is....

All you need is a 65w charger and a cable.

A quick search on Amazon showed at least one that was available for next day delivery.

Tried ordering off Amazon, but still quoting 3-day delivery as I haven't got Prime.
If I chose to join Prime, it still quotes 3-day delivery :unsure:
 
Leave it plugged in to a weaker charger overnight. It'll be back at 100% in the morning.

it'll depend on the cable. Not all USB C cables are the same - and neither are the ports!

For instance, iPhones are fussy with particular cables as the pins (in the port) are different. Vs most android phones will work on almost any usb-c cable.

Ask a colleague or business contact if they have one you can borrow
Buy one from a supermarket or Smith’s or wherever

You might be better going to Carlisle tomorrow, the M6 is shut tomorrow and Penrith will be a nightmare as a result. There's also a pc world in Carlisle if that helps

I might have mentioned that they’re utter shits, and you’re better buying anywhere else.

They’ll never get any more of my money.
