I'm looking at a Laser can for the 1100GS and I know Remus seem to be the best. Has anyone got any feeback on one after fitting (performance, sound, running problems)?
My mate has a Remus, just not sure wether to wait for one or go for the Laser? If anyone has either for sale I have cash burning a hole in my pocket!!:augie

Had a Laser fitted to me moto...
Nice wee blue flame out of it on
back fire, alot lighter then standard
but fuel consumption went through the
roof... Have now got a Remus viper fitted
far better exhaust

don,t suppose this laser can happens to be situated on a particular auction site would it;)best of luck mate if you bid, might even have a swipe myself if it don,t go barmy

laser can

i fitted mine just before Christmas and i fooking love it, no problems when it is running, it is a fairly load pipe (so the neighbors say:hide) only heard the Remus on YouTube but it sounds similar.
not sure about fuel consumption cus i haven't had a chance to give it a good run out yet.
which ever one you choose i think you will be happy:thumb2

PS what ever you do DONT fire up the bike without a can fitted no matter how tempted you are, my neighbors nearly shat themselves :D:augie

I am still on the lookout for a can too, got my link pipe from the bay, I think I need one in brown to match the front pipes :augie

Changed the original for a Laser about four years back. Also fitted the chip at the same time. Can't tell if it uses more fuel but I get about 200 miles before getting worried. Still sounds fantasic to my and all of my followers ears. :D

Finish has lasted well, although the ss extention tube looks a bit grotty.

Will post up a photo or two int morning if its any help.

Remus seem to be the best.

Yes its by far The best if you are satisfied with cheap rubbish. (mmm wheres that can of worms?)

But if you're not - then THE best exhaust is the ORIGINAL - second to that is the STAINTUNE.

though I have to admit that I did like the looks of the exhaust TARKA had on one of his 11's - with a very tasty twin pipe exit thingiemagigwatchamacallit.

Hands off its Mine:thumb

Only jokin'... What do you think its worth?

no idea mate, from what i,ve read about them i,d say about £20 for a minter.apparently they are supposed to crap, mess up the fueling, backfires, they rot, they don,t look good, don,t fit properly and generally fall to bits,i would,nt have one, noooooo i defenatly would,nt have one, even if there was one on ebay,no defenatly not, only remus for me.joking apart mate i,d say £80-100 maybe. what do you think

Thats my thinking too, good luck may the best man (or the one with the deepest pocket?) win......:beerjug:

I had one brought over by hand luggage :)
not bad, not as loud as a remus, solidly built, fully stainless no corrossion.
Got it on here for 50 quid,i think ?

i put a TFI module and snorkel holes in at the same time - goes quite quick now :)

There ya go Stew.

remus on 1100gs

Hi mate i had the remus on my 1100gs and sold it.The original is much better.I losed a bit of torque on the remus and the sound is ok on twistys as your up and the box,but on motorways its a drone. I had the 1150gs with e remus and it was fine but didnt like it on the 1100gs.
