Wanted Laser Printer

Hi,

Just after any tip tips

I’m after a laser printer. ( I think I read on here that these are the way ahead but can’t find the thread).

Colour.

It’s for home use whilst doing a Uni course.

Any advice appreciated

Not a cheap buy as such. If you get tied into propriotity inks from the manufacturer

Ebay or free cycle are your best bet

Color will need 4 cartridges so £180, and if it's a all in one cartridge, your wasting money using 4 colors to get black lol

Ok, so which model are people getting on well with please.

Why a laser? They’re very good and very fast, but necessary for home? And pricy.

I have an Epson ET2830 which uses bottles of ink, so you only top up what you need, when you need. It’s connected by wireless to our laptops, iPads and iPhones. It was recommended by our IT manager at work & I’m very happy with it.

I seem to remember on here people praising laser over normal as it were.

I have a Brother. DCP L356 OCDW
Nice machine. I buy non original cartridges for about €150. Page count around 3000 before refill / replacement needed.

I was always advised of you use it regularly inkjet are fine. If not go for Laser as inkjets dry out.

I've got a Brother Colour Laser Printer , Model HL-L3230CDW and use non OEM cartridges off Amazon . Got the printer used for £99 and had it a couple of years with no issues whatsoever

I think the current model is an HL-L3240CDW
