I was fortunate to have seen Horslips twice back in the day Jimmy, but after seeing them on the tele a couple of times lately I'm not so sure that I like their modern interpretation of the old classic songs and tunes if you see what I mean.

Good to read that you enjoyed the show Jimmy, but how did it compare to the "old" Horslips?

The tea don't taste like it used to either & young people today have no respect, no respect at all; not like when I were a lad :rob :augie :aidan

The versions they did last night of some of their stuff, like, The Man who Built America....Mad Pat...Dearg Doom...Trouble...were the best I have heard for a long time...at times there were eleven musicians , including themselves, on stage....it was a big production....a big live gig....a packed house....a fantastic atmosphere......for guys their age they didn't disappoint...........

They said they will play it again next year.....

I hope to be around for it again too........................:guitarist:guitarist
