It was pointed out during the 48k service that the drive shaft splines are worn causing a bit of a clunk. I do have to agree with them
Does anyone have a spare dive shaft they don't want or know where or if dive shafts can be repaired/refurbished. The UJ bearings are all good.
Cheers

Splines are still good on this if you want it:

That Sir..

Is a very generous offer :thumb2
Obviously a drive shaft in that condition is going to command a certain price that is way below my price range. However, I hope you do manage to shift it soon:thumb2

I think I paid about £100.00 from Sherlocks for a used one. When I say "used" it looked brand new to me!

Unless you can change the UJ's yourself I would not think it is worth replacing them (financially)

Mine also snapped like the previous picture.......

Would that be more than the normal clunk? Ive had 5 GS's and the only one that doesnt clunk is my 2012 model.

It has got more noticeable even before the service. I have made a cheeky offer on a drive shaft on eBay. It came from an 07 7k mile bike. If I get it and it actually arrives from Lithuania I should be good to go. If not then Sherloks or Motorworks look favourite.
