Night be up for this Terry if I can get a pass and work isn't taking over life :blagblah

Am currently looking to book a long weekend around the Fort William area on the 27th for the bank holiday weekend, but stopping in one place and spending the days riding around. Let me know where you end up and we could compare notes on the local 80' . Stopping B+B as a) you cannot guarantee the weather and b) Mrs Haydw moans she has a bad back if we go camping.

Going to make the day trips up as I go along.

your more than welcome... i think it will be me on my own :) or maybe one or two more , that way get more miles done and ground covered in a small group.

I'll post the route later today.. :thumb

We're going later in September. Let us know the midge count, very high in Glencoe at present!!

I was also planning a similar trip so could be up for this on the 3, 4 & 5 Sep option. Committed already before them (yes I probably should be committed before any one suggests it ! :blast)

Not sure I will keep up with you on my thumper though!

what bike you going on ?:)

Last week I was in Scotland...really amazing place..especially the Glen Coe...the area around Loch Ness and the west coast...

Have in mind that to do the road from Ullapool to John O'Groats is a big part one lane with passing areas and with many curves... :drool

In person...I wouldn't spend more than a minute at John O'groats...the whole thing is created only fo advertising issues...I would spend more time on Dunnet Head which the real northen part of mainland...
Also take care police close to Inverness....they are really strick with a lot cameras (I know that personally :blast)

Have a good time... and over there I really enjoyed my bike...

having secound thoughts about part of this route:)

the loop is been made shorter which gives us more time to relax and take pictures and have enough time for food etc:P

so the secound day loop is much more shorter and thus making the third days ride shorter too:).

so do take a look at this map below which gives a basic idea of what i'll be doing..
also looking at the september weekend for this run now:thumb
