Been looking for a Laverda Jota for a while but none quite seemed to tick all the boxes . Decided on this beastie instead (the forerunner of the Jota) which should be arriving this Friday . If the weathers half way decent this weekend then the thunderous sound round the Surrey Hills will be the fatman on the beast !

Very...VERY nice indeedy. :drool

That`s one fine looking bike there. :thumb2

From what I`ve read,it seems like it`ll be a nicer road bike than a Jota anyway.

More pics through ownership and travels, please.

Gorgeous bike, in fact much better than say an orange Jota.
I always used to lust after a 750SF but yours is much better looking:thumb

That looks great

I rode Laverdas for 15 years. My kidneys are aching just looking at that back end :D

I had a 1980 Jota. In top gear it would just start to get into it's stride at 90 and came on cam at 110. Your much better off with the bike you have just bought.

Nice old drummer, here are a couple of mine, if you need any help with parts or advice on how to get it going well I've had Laverdas for 20 years and would be happy to help out.

That looks cool

I know someone who has a Laverda SFC 750 thats done just a few thousand miles and has been dry stored in his collection for the past 25yrs ...nice and possibly for sale in the near furure as he never will get to use it .

That's very nice Pierre. Must be an early one with a drum front brake.

Keith, is that an original SFC ? I'm another ILOC member.

Cheers, Colin.

my jota

my mk2 180 jota at a show a few years ago now sadly only taken out on dry days 10 hours to clean it last time it got rained on :augie

it's another 750SFC like in motomartin's pic, and you'll need pretty deep pockets for a real one ;)

the other one is an RGS i think.

Superb Jota haga lout ! I think it's going to take a lot polishing over the winter to get the 3C to sparkle like that . Still , it gives me something to aim for though riding it will be the main priority , weather permitting !:bow

How deep ?

well, i can't find any for sale at the moment  but i did find some info and nice piccys :)here

i would have thought a nice, genuine SFC would be approaching 750ss territory. about £12/15K.

The one on the left is an RGS1000, the one on the right is an SFC750 elettronica (a real one) I own several other Laverdas and look after several more, I also make ignition systems for early triples, Mikuni carb kits, hydraulic clutch conversions etc. Exelent form of transport the BM, but the Laverda is a real motorbike. :)
