Sorry to disappoint you Tim, he didn't have a rent boy (or an Arab dog  )

In the mid -1920s he developed a flagellation disorder.

Now ... why did that line amuse me so much ?

Just a confirmation - Meeting points - 4th June .

For GPS users, co-ords N 51. 13.044.

ETA Clouds Hill ( N 50. 43.113 . W002. 15.098) 12ish

The Tank Museum is £10 entry  . So i think we'll give that a miss, not much time to see , eat lunch, and get everything done :nenau .
Nice pub couple of miles away, on the way to Corfe Castle .

The fords are too spread out, and don't appeal to everyone, so we'll forget them as well.
But lots of good roads and scenery and a bit of culture to be had . :thumb

I wish I could have made this. Sounds like fun.

Have work commitments .. will be on a plane :(

Me neither now, too much to do. Just realised I've only been at home during the weekend once since Llangollen - it'll be nice to spend some time in the garden this weekend.

Have fun y'all :thumb

For every naysayer, there's an alternate view...

The authorized biography attempts to defend Lawrence against "charges" of homosexuality, and indeed anyone seeking proof of his orientation in sexual acts will find little evidence of any sexuality at all. But there is no doubt that Lawrence was able to form closer attachments to young men (such as 14-year old Dahoum, R. A. M. Guy, and Jock Chambers) than to women.

As did many if not most public school/military men in the first part of the 20th century. So... your point is? They all had rent boys? :nenau

Fact is its irrelevant
