I wouldnt take that too far, the Apple Ipad, is a closed operating system, you only get the bits apple want you to have, you have to upgrade the operating system even if it dont work and if you dont all your software stops working, it dosent what you want it to, and basicaly its a well designed pile of shite.

I dont have a WC so those with will have to draw their own comparrison

All operating systems are shite - the only way to do it well is to get down and dirty at the lowest possible level.
