Well I've made a decision, it's time to let the Le Mans go. Thought it was going to be one that I kept for a long time, but I've now got my rebuilt Z1000 on the road and having two '70's superbikes in the shed that effectively do the same thing is going to mean it won't be used. Its a great runner and probably something I will regret, but I've popped it on the for sales section on here in case anyone is interested.

Looks like its sold chaps - thanks for the interest all who had a peep

There's a really nice crash helmet that would go with that on here. :)

Just goes to show, if something is priced right, it will sell. It's the second time it's come up when I wasn't in a position to act. Maybe a good thing. I doubt I could have ridden it for long.

That is a lovely, lovely looking bike, always had a soft spot for the Mk2 Le Mans

Thanks all. Yes, a bitter sweet sale but I think I have it out of my system for now. I still have the '71 V7 Guzzi which will be this winters project. For any jaunts there's a freshly rebuilt '78 Z1000 which I'm still tinkering with. I'm hankering after something a bit more modern and one of these has turned my head. ;)

I’m looking for an rninet with tubeless spokes like that one, have you seen it for sale somewhere? Unless you’re buying it of course

Hi Steve - pic was a random selected just to show my next 'cunning plan' :). I think it came from a Canadian source. The tubeless spoked wheels are a later development so look at the more expensive end of the adverts out there !
