Well, After 6 months of totally trouble free ownership I had to ring Bahnstormer today due to water getting into the pannier on the right hand side.

Went down to Dartmoor at the weekend and it rained most of the way including a torrential pour in Exeter where I had trouble seeing the overhead signs on the M5

Got to the hotel and pulled out my quality inner bags (Tesco,s big shoppers) and noticed a good half inch (1cm for you youngsters) of water in the bottom. Luckily nothing got too wet.

Booked in to Bahnstormer for Saturday - poss new seals required. Anyone had similar problems? Both the left hand pannier and top box are dry as a bone.

yes had the same thing happen on my 2006 12gsa, they replaced the seal under warranty and they were fine after that :thumb2

Don't know if many people have noticed. There is an seal around the lid of a GSA pannier. Similar to a waterproof seal on an underwater camera housing this would enjoy a bit of silicone gel and a wee clean every now and again.:augie Just a suggestion:aidan
