Leather repairs and alterations

Could anyone please recommend a trusted/reliable place in the East/Midlands that could repair/alter leather bike jeans ?

I’ve had several repairs and alterations by the leather workshop. She is based in Sheffield I think but visited various bike shops once a month for qoutes and fitting etc. Not sure if she still does that bit though as it was a few years ago.

It's often difficult to justify the cost TBH, unless we are talking minor alterations/repairs, particularly if we are dealing with CE.

Kate Jennings at Hideout Leathers will give you an honest assessment.

Although she works from home, she does race leathers ( some for well known people) , boots, zips - all sorts.
We were really impressed with our alterations.

There’s a great lass up here in Sunny Scunny called Alison who is brilliant at alterations in biker clothing, works from home, excellent workmanship (workwomanship?) and very reasonable charges.

A mate of mine was camping up at Whitby at a BMW club event a while back and he’d left his BMW leather pants in the tent porch over night, when he got up the next morning a rat had sneaked in and had eaten a 2 inch hole in the leg of his pants. Alison replaced the complete leather panel, it matched up perfectly and the price was extremely reasonable

I’ve just bought a brand spankers new Richer leather jacket and I got her to shorten the sleeves for me, top job and a very reasonable price.

theres a genius repairer of boots, leathers, textiles etc, does some top racers repairs. Not cheap but top work. He works from home. pm me for details if Wolverhampton do able
