Hi folks,

I hope someone can offer some advice about my 2013 gs headlight. The lens is very cloudy on the inside. Has anyone encountered this?

Thanks.

Is it condensation ? or something else, had a fogging problem with my 07 GS turned out to be my led side light burning out.

As far as I can tell everything is dry. It's like the clear lens is coated in a white scum.
Never seen this before, never seen this before, never had a full led headlight before
either.
Can the lens come off to get cleaned?

Thanks.

Mine too, but it's red dust from the outback here, recently I tried to clean it... but after investigating, the thing is absolutely sealed tight.. a few good ideas came out in the thread though that I haven't tried yet

Not much dust in Scotland.:D

Nope, the lens is fixed. There's no way of getting it off, without wrecking the headlight.

I don't think that there is anything accumulating under the lens. This reminds me of my Yamaha RD350 (1972). Where the headlight glass/ used to become white in colour after a few years. Meaning is BMW using inferior quality stuff?

All the rain keeps the dust out.

Thanks for the reply. Just have to live with it, I guess.
