Led lights arrived from Norman today...!

I've seen the same with two other bikes...dealer also informed me that in any case of problems with the canbus system - it would be flagged up as a possible cause...i.e no warranty cover...

I thought they had some gubbins in to give them the same resistance as a filament bulb so that wouldn't happen???

Certainly the case on Servo 1150's......maybe the 12's are more sensitive to the difference or perhaps yours aren't quite right Nadeem???

Bill, if it was just mine I'd be inclined to agree with you...but I've seen the same problem on a coupla other bikes as well...the canbus is more sensitive to these things apparently...

I installed my LED brake light from NN on Wednesday, took the bike in for some non-related warranty work yesterday and although I've not seen any warning symbols/triangle, the dealer said they had to clear some faults realting to the back light, likely to be related to the LED.

I'll be sending mine back on the basis that it doesn't do what it says on the tin in respect of Canbus compatibility. Nadeem's point about warranty cover is also worth bearing in mind.
