A quick one, just off on a midnight run to catch a ferry home and only have a dark visor available.

Trying to turn on my spots with the light button on the LHS switch gear but nada! Don't have my owners manual handy, why have they made the light operation such a pita?

Is it possible to run spots and headlight?

Cheers,

Phooey.

You should post some more pi$$ takes, turns out there's a teeny tiny button next to the switch gear that was hiding in the dark. I going to blame the dark visor

Yea, you know, handover. It's the time when the salesman goes through the vehicle with the customer on a one to one basis, explaining all the features and benefits of said vehicle so as to enhance the customers ownership experience :D

I've had my GS LC a couple of weeks now and love it so far. The salesman enthused about the LED headlight and I agree the full beam isn't bad but the dipped beam is a bit disappointing - not a patch on the RT I traded in.

I do quite a lot of night riding and like to see where I'm going. I'd be interested in people's opinions of the LED aux lights. They're damn expensive: do they work well and are they worth the money? Or would it make more sense to fit H3 ones for half the price?

Tankerman, the headlight is actually quite good! But....you need to adjust it higher from the factory setting. It's just set too low.
Readjust and all will be well with your frequent night riding.

Thanks, Titto.

The first time I rode it at night, I couldn't see a thing - the light was set so low. I pulled in to the roadside and wound it up enough to get home. I then had Wollastons set it up properly at the first service and now agree that it's quite good. Why couldn't they have done that in the first place?!
