I just bought a pair of these on the Bay and they come as a complete kit including relay and a switch. On my previous single I wired them through the main beam so they are on when the main beam is switched on. On this twin however, would there be an error code come up because of the differences in current draw? I have the half obscured LCD display on my 650twin if that makes a difference.

Which ones did you get ?

I tapped into the 12v power socket to fire the relay.

The spots stay on for a minute or so after turning off the bike, kind of like the "follow you home" lights on some cars, then shutdown
