I just bought a pair of these on the Bay and they come as a complete kit including relay and a switch. On my previous single I wired them through the main beam so they are on when the main beam is switched on. On this twin however, would there be an error code come up because of the differences in current draw? I have the half obscured LCD display on my 650twin if that makes a difference.

If all you are tapping into the main beam feed for is to trigger a relay then that small amount of additional current will not cause an error.
