Decided to fit a set of these from Nippy Normans to my 1200GS TB rather than the usual spot lights hat everyone seams to fit ;)

Looks like a good bit of kit with bespoke fitting brackets that go on the fork clamp bolts.

Nice and discrete in black as well - looks like they came with the bike :D

They are more than just led strips but a set of 3 small led spots mounted in an aluminum casing.

Only thing they lack is a switch which means they come on automatcally with the ignition as I have wired them into the rear light. Think I will get round to wiring in a switch at some point.

Best part is they are very bright :thumb

For much (much) less you could have done this....

Less than a tenner if I remember right.

Compare the 2 pictures the LEDpac gives out alot more light - as said more like spot lights than the cheap led strips ;)

with respect if you have to switch the lights off to see them they're not much use :aidan

You and I can see them but a camera is a whole different kettle of fish. The HID does horrible things to the gain control on my SLR. They do stand out to the Mk1 eyeball.

They look good, great that they're mounted to follow steering direction changes too.

Were they easy to wire in? Did you need any extra's apart from whatever was included in the kit?

Simple enough and everything included to fit them so long as you don't want a separate switch ;)

Cheers Paul, I'm going to order some.

I'm not bothered about them being switched, but could possibly connect them to my spot lights which are switched ?
