that'l be your charming way to say it wouldnt be your solution ? :thumb

mine neither, but this project was posted a short while a go. TS tried, according 2 the topic, not to get mistaken anymore for a car with one broken headlight.

He fixed some LED in his handguards at no costs at all (definateley less then your bowl of dogchow though) and i read that some UK based tossers were after the same thing.

overseas greetings to ya'll :thumb

i would rather not have caused offence, hopefully he doesn't read this, but since you ask...

that truly is a dog's dinner. i don't believe for one instant that having LEDs fitted in my handguards would keep me safer, and even if it did, i could not have those particular items on my bike.

Oops, too late! :D

Neither do I.

Those LED's were a leftover from another project. I had a couple of hours between finishing some household duties and dinner, walked to the barn, stumbled across the LED's, and decided to do something with them. It was more a solution looking for a problem than anything else. Should sound familiar to at least some of you.

The 'now I don't look like a car with a broken headlight anymore' is the excuse. But still, I am happy with them. It looks pretty nice.

With 500mA through the LED's they are a bit too bright, BTW. That should be reduced to around 200mA. I will modify the LED drive to 150-200mA on dipped beam, 1500mA of high beam once I get in the neighborhood of an electronics store.

LED's

Hi All
Come to put my pennies worth in :blast

IMO Anything that helps you get seen is a help, but please try to avoid the Chav's. Like the look of the 3w listed above & the emergency lighting company ones ( I think it would be called the Mosses effect in traffic ). Mmmm. . . might have to try some experimenting in the shed  Will have to try not to get carried away, the bike might look like an extra from Close Encounters off the 3rd kind. :eek

Let;s go the whole hog, these will get you noticed :D
