Has anyone ever repaired one of those microswitches in the left hand switchgear? Is it only repairable?

It no longer grounds the loop.

Yes I had a replacement micro switch from Motorworks and replaced the horn one rather successfully..

I bought a left hand control from Italy, swapped it over, then fixed mine and sold mine for 80% of the cost. I didn't have the luxury of messing as the bike is a daily. It wasnt the microswitch in the end, just an out of line indictor switch which was fixed after cleaning and reseating...

Be very careful when soldering the new microswitch in place as it is very easy indeed to render it useless by applying too much heat. The finer tipped soldering iron used the better.

I found this out the hard way.

All 4 lights are working with the warning lights on and when I ground the microswitch both LH indicators work.

Thanks for the tipped tip and also a finer soldering wire helps.

I got a TV repair shop to solder extended wires to the two microswitches bought. So replaced one indicator switch and have a spare for next time.
I could not focus my eyes to get a good solder on those tiny connections.
Also, the replacement switches had less tactile movement and a slight nudge when cancelling rightside indicator tab would set right indicator off.
