Left over parts

In the US, I just bought a 97 R1100GS with Jesse bags. In the bags are some left over hardware that I have identified as the OEM bag rails, and rear footpeg plates, but the part numbers on the footpeg plates (46 71 2 314 763.9 and 764.9) don't match the parts fiche (46 71 2 314 761 and 762). Based on the parts diagram the ones I have are very similar but a little shorter than the listed. A parts search on the numbers doesn't yield any hits. Could these be non-US parts?

I doubt very much if there's any difference in parts or part numbers for pannier mounting hardware. BMW tend to keep their part numbers identical worldwide where possible.

I found out through the IBMWR list that the casting number on the part, which I was quoting, is not necessarily THE part number. A peg's a peg the world around.
