Hey ,

There`s an exhaust on our e-bay equivalent made by Leo Vince. It looks like a y piece and a titan muffler setup. price is only 124 quid. Does anyone know anything about this manufacturer or setup . I think it`s an x3 or something?
Thanks for any help.

For what its worth I had a carbon Leo Vince SBK end can on my fireblade. The can was very well made and was a quality product. Leo Vince are based in Italy so it might be an idea to look on their website and see if they still produce a 'X3' (I've no knowledge of this type unfortunately).

I bought Leo Vince X3 cans for my Aprilia Caponord (now departed, probably with it's constituent parts dropping off along every road it's ridden on). The X3's had fantastic craftmanship, looked amazing......didn't fit. I was one of several owners who tried them and the general consensus was that they looked good on a shelf. Only one person managed to 'make' them fit, and that took some ingenuity (and a pipe bender).

Not sure whether this problem was unique to the Aprilia fitments but if an Italian exhaust manufacturer can't make their exhausts fit an Italian bike, what chance have they got with a German one?

Personally I'd steer well clear on my experience, or at least buy them only if I knew for sure that i could return them if they didn't fit.

Check out their website for details. Infinity Motorcycles list them if you want to compare the new price with the second hand ones.

If the eBay ones look unused, be suspicious that they don't fit :)

Probably of little use to you - I've just noticed where you live!

Leo Vince exhaust

I have an X3 Leo Vince exhaust on my Adventure, they are quite popular in Aus. Sounds good, looks good, fits well, it also replaces that awful cat converter box. Used to have a staintune on my R1100GS, I prefer the Leo Vince, the price you saw also appears pretty cheap, I paid $1,200, GBP 500 ish.
