Leo Vinci can

Just had a Leo Vinci alloy can fitted. Not too loud when I don't want it to be, but when I really give it the berries, I get this really annoying induction noise anywhere from about 4000 RPM. I rang the dealer and asked if they interfered with the air box and they said no. Should there be a change in induction noise just from the fitting of a can? PS. Makes me sound faster though!

Bought the same can off ebay a few months ago, havn't noticed any increase in induction noise but have found that it mucks up the slow speed fueling though, esp mini roundabouts in the wet, very dicey!!!!

i fitted one of those puppies on my first Gs 1200.. I never felt that it gave me any extra whooosh whooosh .. but did give me a bit more attitude.. nice and light ..lots of back fire on the overun.. a bit less mpg ... would have kept it on only when I was giving bike a service I noticed that it showed evidence of running rich .. sooty plugs etc.. put back on the original .. what more can I say..

That's strange - surely making a bike breath more easily (ie fitting a less restrictive can) should, if anything, make it run more lean

Maybe .. I can only comment on what happened to me.. I noted with interest that the cat stays on the bike .. would the computer that deals with fuel air mixture get a bit confused with less restrictive can or should it adjust the mixture to suit..
