Hi Guys & Girls,

Just bought one of these exhausts for my 2010 GS. Nothing really wrong with the stock exhaust but I found it a bit big and too shiny in chrome & it doesn't sound so good. I have to say for less than £300 delivered it was a good quality purchase, I think it looks very smart and suits the GS. Main improvement is the sound, It's quite purposeful now, deeper bass and as a bonus about 4kg lighter to boot!

Highly recommended for those of you who want to personalise your bike!

Cheers. GAJA

They do appear to be very good quality.

Yes, for the money, first class. Even came with a carbon shield (for the link pipe) which was a nice touch and looks better than the stock one. Very easy to fit and good quality bolts & fitting bracket. Highly recommended product! (I have no affinity with Leo Vince nor am I selling any of their gear), just wanted to share bit of kit with the forum.

Leo Vince pipe

Does it interfere with the Vario case (Oh 'er Missus)?

I have a Leo Vince on a different bike. I do find that it suffers from staining and minor corrosion from being used all year round. If left dirty it suffers big time.

It does sound nice though. Plus mine came with 6 different inserts. Its too loud without the inserts in.

A friend of mine had a set on a KTM, sounded amazing, this one for the GS has the one removeable baffle (which is out). It doesn't sound offensive, just a bit more meaty and purposeful.

As for staining and corrosion, time will tell as I've only had it on for a week and the bike's only been out once in this time.

Off track a little. Whilst following my mate on a long trip recently who has a Remus on his GS I would have quite happily killed him. The exhaust seemed to hit just the wrong note for me. It sounded like a bleeding Heinkel 111. Not sure if I can see the point of a noisy exhaust on a GS. But each to their own. New Leo Vince exhausts are a nice looking sturdy bit of kit. Just don't let me get stuck behind you.

Got a Beowulf on mine. Only around £130 for the end can. So far so good and use it with or without the baffle in - depending upon how much I want to piss my neighbour off! :bounce1

I have two Beowulfs on my Diversion 900. The original "baffles" did absolutely SFA so they now have 45mm dB killers. The sound is gruff without being offensive and the rumble doesn't rattle my teeth through town. The big benefit has been better mpg and noticeably more roll-on power at M-way speeds.
