L'escargot, Le Rivival! Vivre toujours les Tetes du vents!

In its current form the bike looks like an artificial reef...but on land. Are your vaccinations up to date?

I bought a similar project from Steptoe a few years ago. Loads of work but very satisfying once you're riding it about

Progress

I broke a couple more bolts but lets face it you can;t expect 100% to come out clean after being treated like this old lady has been these last MANY years!

Yep in it's current form it looks more like a plane crash than a restoration project. Was all that Sh%t on the ground before or did the bike cak its pants when it was taken apart?

Hmmm, I've only just got my first gs, these pics are making me contemplate a project next year just to learn more about the bikes without taking mine apart, need it for going to work.

Perhaps after I've finished building the tiny house I'll look into it further. Will be interested to watch how this develops.

For all those contemplating a project-

1. Sit down and carefully calculate what it will cost you, leave nothing out.

2. Take the above figure and double it.

3. Take the above figure (point 2) and come to terms with fact it will still be well short of the actual cost.

4. You are now ready to begin your project :D

Good luck :beerjug:
