First post - so hello everyone!
Just fitted a set of Les's Micro DE HIDs to my 1150GSA SE.
Many thanks to Les for answering a few questions, and I can confirm that the installation is simple enough for most to undertake by themselves. I bet Les does it better though!
But a bit of information that's elsewhere on the forums, but caught me out.....
If you're daft enough to spend too long admiring and adjusting your lights, as well as comparing them with and without main beam etc. etc. then you might just find your battery dead.
What I found next was that my RID was 'locked'. Apparently I managed the 50miles to work this morning all in 2nd gear at 0645hrs. RID won't even power down with the ignition off. Had a quick look around and found this thread. Seems to have done the trick for me - so thought I'd point it out in this time of chilly weather and hard-working batteries.....
