Saturday morning pick-up for me, handed over the dosh today - looking forward to riding away on this brilliant new bike :D

As a 1200 owner, I can't wait for the LCs to be launched, cos now I can be as smug as the 1100/1150 owners, safe in the knowledge that the new bike ain't quite as good as the old one, too advanced etc etc. I'm particularly looking forward to the first LC owner asking where to put the tax disc!!!!!!!!:blast

Don't think that you will see may pics today because official launch is tomorrow - I did get a peek at mine yesterday though, would have picked it up today but the logistics of travelling between my place and my girlfriend's and then to the dealer on time meant that I have to wait until tomorrow :(
 
Yesterday seen the first LC ( in red ) on the road at NOBMW , may I say that it sounds/looks good .:thumb2
 
Human psychology is a weird thing - the design, styling and detail of the new bike looks light years ahead of the previous one - put it along side the old one and difference is staggering but it is somehow still, without question a boxer-engined GS. BMW have done a brilliant job IMHO :D

+1:thumb2 the closest I'm going to get to a water cooled is I'm floating on the stuff for the next 4 weeks:blast

I would like to add my thanks to all of you beta testing the bike that will one day be mine, when its on the second iteration and hopefully with the release of the version with a big tank and extra leg room. Thanks in advance for all of those trips to the dealer your're going to make on my behalf, to sort out the inevitable little niggles :D

Seriously though, I hope those picking up a new bike this weekend get a load of enjoyment out of it and I look forward to having a gander at one soon.

A few in here seemed to think they'll be picking theirs up today:rob We'll see, as I didn't think they would be allowed to as the bike is officially launched tomorrow:thumb
