Today, I joined the ranks of the X-Club with a silver and yellow 09 X-Country. Now the fun begins with trying to personalise it a bit. Please be patient with me when I ask stupid questions...I didn't know you had to put water in it until today. :D I have never had a tap cooled bike before. Mine have all be cooled by breathing fluid. :aidan

:thumb2:thumb2Congrats on your bike. They're excellent machines.

If you are swapping your shocks about, I'd take the opportunity for a bit of pre-emptive greasing of your swing arm bearings whilst you're down there. (Headstock also good to do but they're the other end!)

Just read your other post (you are happy :beerjug:) about raising it a little. Easy ones are :
Bar risers - touratech do collar type ones, or you can get more fancy ones as seen on many enduro bikes (brand name escapes me at the moment, but there are chinese copies on ebay)
Seat - get it recovered but with more foam added to it.

I think you'll enjoy this

Gareth
