Let's see what all the fuss is about

I will.

Now that KTM are actively removing crap dealers from their network, and upping their game on customer service, it's a good time to try a KTM.

I don't think much has changed. Most KTM dealers have always been pretty good, they just don't have flashy showrooms full of latte machines.

I'm looking forward to it. The only fly in the ointment is that the bike should have been delivered to them last week, but there's been a slight delay due to an issue with the clocks. I'd rather it gets sorted at the factory before I take delivery, so am happy to wait.

Problems before you start then ? Great looking bikes, but I wouldn't want this and a GSA ! One must go surely ,enjoy the ride be good to hear your review on it

Pity KTM's have chains...............nasty horrible messy things, that would really piss me and put me off

At least BMW/Honda/Guzzi have shaft drive:D

Well someone I know of is asking for his old job back because hi is not impressed with his KTM dealership he is working for. That does say something to me.............. And I know you are know as Arsey :comfort, but please don't be arsey back, it's just a matter of fact :nenau :D

Nutty will have fun regardless of what make bike he rides, but time will tell and I am pleased not to be the guinea pig at this point

KTM are upping their game when it comes to customer service, apparently.

For example, if your bike is at the dealer having problems fixed, the dealer has to maintain a level of communication with the customer (set by KTM), otherwise KTM will impose fines on the dealer.

They're quite serious about cornering more of the market, and are going to be investing more money back into the dealer network. Interesting times.:beerjug:

I'm very interested to see what the 2018 GT will be like.:thumb

I think although not certain that KM are a bit worse than BMW for "Beta testing"

Only anecdotal but my pal who has been a loyal KTM road bike bod for many years now claims that it is always better to wait a year after launch before buying one. He also says that the build quality is reducing as they go for more of the market. I have to say that the Build quality on his new SDR is not as good as it was on his old 990 SDR

They do go well though and build quality is certainly no worse than BMW
