Mine was delayed leaving Austria by a week - now due at dealer end of this week and with me end of next.
Hope it arrives on time as I plan a 500 mile weekend visiting family in the Peaks to run it in...

Looking forward to hearing your views on the Katoom Rich. It's the only bike that I've ever considered over the GSA.. Need to get out for a blatt together once you've got it!! Goodwood breakie run perhaps?

KTM's appear to be getting more popular now - 2 of my mates have just bought 1050 adventures
PS - what made you go for the R over the S - would have thought the S would be more of a direct replacement for your XR?

Cheers Paul. I wanted manual suspension, so I can play around with the settings properly. With the higher seat, it's also the same as my GSA, which I find more comfortable for my back, over the normal GS.
